SKF Vertevo uses SAP Ariba Business Network to support procurement of indirect materials and services. Suppliers can collaborate digitally through purchase orders, order confirmations, shipping notifications, and where mutually agreed, electronic invoicing.
Suppliers do have the possibility to publish catalogs with agreed content and pricing directly to all users having access to SKF Vertevo Ariba. Please discuss and agree if this is a possibil to streamline and increase the efficiency with your SKF Vertevo responsible Purchaser and establish a catalog.
To start transacting with SKF Vertevo either an SAP Ariba Business Network invitation from SKF Vertevo will arrive to you or a Purchase Order to your dedicated e-mail (Order inbox) at your company after agreement.
When receiving the first Purchase Order you can decide if you continue processing purchase orders via e-mail or take the opportunity to register or connect to already existing SAP Business Network account and utilize the benefits of the network. Once your Account has been registered and connected, the responsibility of the account maintenance, e.g. correctness of company details, contact email addresses and order routing configuration is on your side.

Electronic Invoicing
Electronic invoicing is not automatically enabled for all suppliers. Enablement requires a dedicated project between SKF Vertevo and the supplier. This option is generally most beneficial for suppliers with significant invoice volumes or suppliers already exchanging e-invoices with other SAP Business Network customers.
