In an OEM's design process, only a few suppliers are ever invited from an early stage. We make sure we're one of them. This is what lets us go beyond delivering components, to engineering entire systems for motorcycles, scooters and three-wheelers.
Fewer parts. Smarter systems.
New projects for two- and three-wheelers come with conflicting demands. Electrification is changing the powertrain. Engineers are asked for quieter running, lower weight and tighter integration. All without the cost going up.
Our answer is consolidation: Fewer suppliers. Fewer parts. More performance built into each application.
Six parts became one
As partners to a three-wheeler manufacturer, we engineered a hub bearing unit in a size that didn't exist before. Purpose-built to replace six separate wheel-end components with a single, sealed solution. The result was a simplified supply chain, reduced weight, and a unit that's sealed and greased for the life of the vehicle. No re-greasing needed. No field maintenance.
The same approach is now being developed for two-wheeler wheel ends.
01
Electrification
As drivetrains electrify, every remaining bearing carries more load, more heat and more precision requirements than before. We engineer bearing solutions that hold up to increased demands.
02
Noise, vibration & harshness (NVH)
Quiet is attractive. Noise, vibration and harshness directly affect how a vehicle feels to ride. Small choices at a single point add up across the whole machine.
03
Weight
Every gram counts. We reduce weight by building functions into the bearing itself, not bolting on separate parts.
04
Safety
Built-in, not added on. As ABS becomes mandatory across more markets, we're developing wheel speed sensing built directly into the bearing. The safety function arrives without a new part to package.
A vehicle built in one market can end up anywhere. It might get exported to more than a hundred countries, each with its own specification. Our aftermarket solution ensures that the engineering knowledge from the drawing board keeps supporting the vehicle owner if ever replacement parts are needed.
